Efficency in print estimating is critical to the success of a print shop business, to produce an accurate estimate fast, ensures more time is spent getting the job done, and less time on the paperwork.
A print job can be estimated quote fast with a wizard which guides the user through a series of dialog boxes which gathers the necessary data to estimate the quote. By arranging a logical sequence of dialog boxes in a development process order with pre-set prompts for common options this enables the user to gather the required information in the fastest time possible.
Another key feature is to eliminate any irrelevant information to be presented to the user.
After a new job is opened the user either enters in an existing customer from the customer address book, or enters in a new address. Please note that the following sequence of dialog boxes is for a digital print job.

The fourth has inputs for the digital printer details eg. coverage, CTR etc.
The 5th dialog box has inputs for the stock and guillotining cuts. The paper arrangement can also be displayed here.
The 6th dialog box is the first of two dialog boxes with the special requirements.
The 7th dialog box is the second of two dialog boxes with the special requirements.
The 8th dialog box is for finishing details.
The 9th dialog box lets the user enter any outwork details if required.
